![]() Oral cancer is caused when cells inside the mouth or on the lips develop mutated DNA and continue to grow and multiply rather than going through the natural cell cycle. These cells can eventually form a tumor if left untreated. Oral cancer is a serious matter, and as such it is important to look out for signs whenever possible. Most may think that signs of oral cancer exhibit as pain, but there are other symptoms which can be easily spotted before the cancer progresses enough to become painful. By keeping a vigilant eye, you may be able to spot oral cancer before it develops into a very serious condition.
