![]() Fixing Crooked TeethIf you have one crooked tooth, depending on the position of the teeth, you may want to consider a couple of options. First, many people use Invisalign or other types of invisible, plastic braces that you wear. The clear braces are not visible to most people, and work to align your teeth over time. If you only have one crooked tooth, you will only have to wear the plastic braces on one level of your teeth- either on the top, or on the bottom. You may also want to consider getting a retainer to work on your crooked. Rather than braces which cover your entire top or bottom teeth in metal, retainers are one thin metal strip across your teeth. You may only need to wear the retainer all night as opposed to during the day. Also, you may be able to fix one crooked tooth with a set of veneers. Veneers may be a good choice for you, especially if you want to improve the overall look of your teeth. Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are placed over your natural teeth. They can instantly transform your smile- even that one pesky crooked tooth. If you are unsure about how best to fix your crooked tooth, why not give us a call? We would love to talk to you about your pesky crooked tooth, as well as any other concerns you have about your dental health. |
